Project Description

Innovation in teaching

We operate courses, workshops and seminars in Reichman University and other academic institutions. We combine theoretical teaching with hands-on experience, where participants influence the content and products in a creative and communal approach.

Academic courses:
We operate academic teaching programs for B.A. students in education, psychology, occupational therapy, other faculties and international programs. These programs have been operating in Tel-Aviv University, the IDC Herzliya and Ono Academic College, with a current total of close to 1,000 student participants.

Here are a few examples:
“Harmony – Connect and Lead with Music” – B.A. course for students in Education and Psychology

“Educational Dialogue through Music” – course for students in Teaching and Occupational Therapy

“Promoting Dialogue in the Spirit of Israeli Hope in Academia” – intensive course for students from various faculties

“Musical Dialogue as Inter-Cultural Bridge”– intensive course for students from various faculties with a focus on multi-culturalism

Teacher Training:
Alongside academic programs, we developed teacher training programs, some lengthier and some more focused, including on-line training programs via Zoom software. These programs have been completed by several hundreds of teachers, instructors and Education students, feeding into the Israeli education system.

Here are some examples:
“Speaking through Songs” – a training program for teachers in secondary schools, institutions for youth at-risk and social organizations. Teachers and instructors learn about the principles of the program and its teaching techniques to pupils and teenagers.

Online training programs – programs for teachers and instructors via Zoom software. These programs have been operating on a large scale during the Coronavirus outbreak as part of the distance learning implemented by schools and other educational institutions.
